I am a born again Christian, and have been since 1961, when I was saved at a church camp I had attended. I still belong to
the same faith, and am active in church related activities.
I grew up in California, and Arkansas. I met, and married Robert, my husband for 37 years, soon to be 38 years in 2007.
We have had 5 children, and now have 7 grandchildren with another three on the way! We have six granddaughters,
and one grandson. Our daughter-in-law, Christina and Brian are expecting a girl that is due to be born in February of
2007. Our daughter, Christina, and Aaron are expecting twin boys that are due in April! Yes, it get confusing sometimes with
both of them having the same first name. It is very true that grandchildren are so much fun! I feel like a kid again
"playing" with the girls, and the pups,and all the other farm animals. I am looking forward to the baby boys, all three, being
old enough to get in there too! Experienceing things right along with them.

Our business was started after much prayer about me, the mom, staying at home with our children, but at the same time
needing some extra income. God answered our prayers with the kennel business. The first Bichons we bought were very reasonably
priced. Naturally the kids thought this was a terrific idea to have animals in the house! So, in 1986 we, as a family, decided
to become " a dog breeder", and started SHEKINAH KENNEL.
The children have grown up and gone to their own homes,
I have chosen these 3 breeds to continue on with. My children have also chosen to raise a few puppies now and then. So, once
an animal lover, always an animal lover! My Granddaughters love to play with all the puppies, and always want their picture
taken with them.
